About us
Cappawhite GAA & Cappawhite LGFA are hosting a cycle challenge on 20th July 2014. The funds raised through sponsorship and on the day will be used in the running of the clubs while noting that there are plans in place to build a stand in the near future.
The Challenge this year is 100km and will include 'Christ the king' climb in scenic Aherlow.
The intermediate spin will this year be 50km and will be a test without being too hard.
There will also be a 10km route for our younger and older generations.
2013 was a huge success for the GAA club and for the parish as whole. There was a BBQ for all participants kindly sponsored by Ryan's Centra. There was Bouncing castles and there was top class music provided by half of 'The Genetix' (Breandán & Róisín Buckley). Each cyclist took home a free sponsored event t-shirt. Check our our 2013 Page & 2013 sponsors.
